The Berkshires’ own currency is stepping into the future by going digital! Join BerkShares, Inc. for the soft launch of digital BerkShares on March 21st.

This event will be a celebration of all that makes the Berkshires such a special place to live. Learn about the new BerkShares app and hear from area small businesses owners, artists influenced by the richness of the Berkshires, and local currency team members. Plus, participate in some fun local trivia for a chance to win BerkShares-themed prizes!

When this local currency was first launched 15 years ago, the occasion was celebrated at the Mahaiwe to much fanfare. Though BerkShares, Inc. has not yet been able to gather together in person, it’s only fitting to return to this venue to ring in digital BerkShares. Just as in 2006, BerkShares, Inc. is pleased to once again have State Rep. Smitty Pignatelli as the emcee for the event.
