This New York-based chamber music collective shares the aim of performing the greatest works in the repertoire at the highest level. Their program is curated to showcase both unity of ensemble and rare musicianship. Looking back\, Mozart's Adagio and Fugue in C minor employs Bach's contrapuntal style but pushes into daring\, unexpected harmonies that sound as though they were composed a century later. Mendelssohn's miraculous Octet in E-flat major bursts with youthful verve and brilliance. At just 16\, he directed in the score that "This Octet must be played by all the instruments in symphonic orchestral style." Britten's Simple Symphony movements reveal his sense of fun and wit\, while Max Bruch's Kol Nidrei speaks in a universal voice—moving from supplication to promise and redemption.  \nVivace Chamber Orchestra\nYehuda Hanani\, cello
