Great Barrington, Mass.—The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center will continue to present screenings for limited capacity audiences of no more than 25 through the month of November. For information on the theater’s safety measures, see mahaiwe.org.

Cyrano de Bergerac, an HD broadcast from London’s National Theatre, will screen Wednesdays, November 4 and 18, at 7pm. Jamie Lloyd’s new production of Edmond Rostand’s classic play stars James McAvoy as a vigorous yet self-conscious man deeply in love. 

The Mahaiwe will present three screenings of The Song Remains the Same (PG), Friday, November 6 at 7pm, and Saturday, November 7, at 4pm and 7pm. The 1976 concert movie features rock and roll legends Led Zeppelin at Madison Square Garden during the summer of 1973.  

The theater will present three screenings of Labyrinth (PG), Friday, November 13 at 7pm, and Saturday, November 14, at 4pm and 7pm. This 1986 musical film by Jim Henson, starring David Bowie among fantastical puppets, has reached cult-following status.  

The theater will present three screenings of Being John Malkovich (R), Friday, November 20 at 7pm, and Saturday, November 21, at 4pm and 7pm. Filmmaker Spike Jonze directs this 1999 satire about a puppeteer who discovers a portal into actor John Malkovich’s mind.  

42nd Street, an HD broadcast from BY Experience, will screen Tuesday, November 24 at 7pm and Wednesday, November 25 at 7pm. The reimagined Broadway favorite features a variety of tap dances, musical theatre standards, and sensational ensemble production numbers.  

The Mahaiwe will present four screenings of The Wizard of Oz (PG), Friday, November 27, at 4pm and 7pm, and Saturday, November 28, at 1pm and 4pm. Audiences enjoy this classic 1939 movie every Thanksgiving weekend at the theater 

Tickets to HD screenings are $17. Tickets to movies are $9. All tickets must be purchased in advance at mahaiwe.org or 413-528-0100 during Box Office hours, Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 4pm.
