Great Barrington, Mass.—Alternative rock group Nine Days will perform an acoustic set at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center’s Indigo Room on Saturday, September 19 at 8 p.m.
Nine Days first broke through on the national stage with their major label debut The Madding Crowd (2000), anchored by the infectious charm of number one Billboard hit “Absolutely (Story of a Girl).” Built on the creative partnership of John Hampson and Brian Desveaux, Nine Days formed in Long Island, N.Y., during an era of buoyant energy and earnest songwriting. The band’s music has resonated worldwide.
Nine Days returns to Great Barrington following an opening performance for Better Than Ezra on the Mahaiwe mainstage last spring.
Tickets
Tickets go on sale to Mahaiwe Members on Wednesday, July 22 at noon, and to the public on Friday, July 24 at noon.
Tickets are $35 general admission, café table seating. Tickets can be purchased online at mahaiwe.org, or by calling or visiting the Box Office, 413-528-0100, on Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.

About the Indigo Room
The Indigo Room is a flexible performance venue in the former Great Barrington firehouse building at 20 Castle Street, next door to the historic Mahaiwe theater. Audience capacity ranges between 75 and 150 based on the floor plan for a given performance.
