She has spent her life on the edge of stardom, but has been challenged along her way by prejudice, personal injuries, and other life challenges. In spite of, and because of all these things, she has become a beautiful soul with a powerful voice – whether she’s singing or not. And her story of love and community rings out loud and clear in a world that truly needs this message.
