Great Barrington, Mass.—The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has added two winter holiday programs to its year-round schedule: Chris Thile and Aoife O’Donovan in Wassail! An Evening of Carols and Merriment, December 5, and the John Pizzarelli Trio with Jessica Molaskey in The Glory of Love: Married to Jazz, December 19.

Bluegrass and folk musicians Chris Thile and Aoife O’Donovan will perform Wassail! An Evening of Carols and Merriment on Saturday, December 5 at 8 p.m.
Celebrate the season with Grammy Award-winning artists Aoife O’Donovan and Chris Thile as they illuminate treasured holiday songs with spellbinding harmonies and joyful musicality. Featuring newly written (and never before released) original songs, fresh arrangements of beloved classics, lively stories and good cheer in abundance, Wassail! is a warm invitation to gather, sing, and revel in the glow of the holidays.
Mandolinist Chris Thile is a MacArthur Fellow and founding member of Punch Brothers and Nickel Creek. Aoife O’Donovan is a vocalist, guitarist, and founding member of I’m With Her and Crooked Still.
Tickets are $65 to $99, with discounts for Mahaiwe Members and individuals ages 30 and under.

Acclaimed jazz guitarist and Grammy Award-winning producer John Pizzarelli, together with celebrated vocalist and Broadway star Jessica Molaskey, present The Glory of Love: Married to Jazz, a brand-new concert celebrating the enduring partnerships of legendary jazz couples whose music – and love – were deeply intertwined.
The husband-and-wife duo, renowned for their irresistible charm, exceptional musicianship, and effortless onstage chemistry, brings fresh interpretations of beloved songs made famous by iconic pairs, including Bobby Troup & Julie London, Astrud & João Gilberto, Jackie & Roy, Peggy Lee & Dave Barbour, and more. Through witty banter, heartfelt storytelling, and stunning performances, Pizzarelli and Molaskey celebrate the timeless artistry, romance, and enduring legacy of these extraordinary musical partnerships.
With more than 30 albums to his credit, John Pizzarelli is one of today’s leading jazz guitarists, celebrated for his sophisticated playing, signature swing, and unmistakable vocal style. Jessica Molaskey, whose Broadway credits include Sunday in the Park with George, Parade, and the 2025 Lincoln Center production of Floyd Collins, brings theatrical elegance and a velvety voice that perfectly complements Pizzarelli’s masterful musicianship.

Tickets go on sale to Mahaiwe Members on Wednesday, July 15 at noon, and to the public on Friday, July 17 at noon.
