Mahaiwe welcomes the public to ribbon cutting for Indigo Room opening, October 12
The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center welcomes the public to a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new performance venue, the Indigo Room, next door to the historic theater on Sunday, October 12 at 1 p.m.
Mahaiwe announces John Pizzarelli, ARKAI, and Mahaiwe Rumba
The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has added three new performances to its year-round programming: a salsa dancing class and fiesta, “Mahaiwe Rumba,” during Festival Latino on September 27; string duo ARKAI on December 6; and Mahaiwe-favorite jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli on December 20.
Mahaiwe announces The Met: Live in HD 2025-26 season
The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center will present eight screenings from the Metropolitan Opera’s Live in HD 2025-26 season, October 19 through June 7.
Mahaiwe announces Indigo Room Grand Opening Celebration
The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center will hold a Grand Opening Celebration for its new performance space the Indigo Room from October 10 through October 12, with performances by jazz vocalist Ann Hampton Callaway, blues guitarist Guy Davis, and family-friendly musician Terry A La Berry, among ceremonial festivities throughout the weekend. Further programming for the Indigo Room is also announced.
Mahaiwe announces second Natalie Merchant show, October 31
Folk-rock singer-songwriter Natalie Merchant will return to the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in an acoustic duo with Erik Della Penna on Saturday, November 1 at 8 p.m.
Mahaiwe announces free programming: Tambuco, Bill Blagg, and Inside Out (Spanish-language screening)
The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has added three free programs to its year-round schedule: an engaged performance with Mexican percussive group Tambuco on July 22, a magic show with Bill Blagg on August 4, and a Spanish-language screening of the movie Inside Out on September 6.

Mahaiwe announces Josh Blue, Pat Metheny, David Sedaris, Rennie Harris Puremovement in October
The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has added four shows to its year-round schedule this fall: comedian Josh Blue on October 3, jazz guitarist Pat Metheny on October 4, satirist David Sedaris on October 5, and hip-hop dance company Rennie Harris Puremovement on October 18.
LeAnn Rimes performance canceled
Due to a new filming obligation, the LeAnn Rimes performance scheduled for August 6 at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has been canceled. Ticket-buyers have been notified with refund information.
Mahaiwe Gala update – Aaron Tveit to headline July 13 event
Tony-winning and Grammy-nominated Broadway, television, and film star Aaron Tveit will headline the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center’s 2025 Gala on Sunday, July 13 at 8 p.m., replacing the previously scheduled performer, Andrew Rannells.
