The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has added four new screenings to its 100 Years of Movies series: Dr. Strangelove (1964) on August 2; Young Frankenstein (1974) on August 16; Amadeus (1984) on September 13; and Crooklyn (1994) on September 27. 

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center and Berkshire Opera Festival (BOF) are delighted to announce that the Mahaiwe is BOF’s new long-term home, through a multi-year residency. 

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has added two screened series to its ongoing schedule: 100 Years of Movies at the Mahaiwe, and summer encores from the Met Opera Live in HD. 

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has added swing revival band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy to its live programming schedule on Friday, July 12 at 8 p.m. 

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has added a variety of new shows to its year-round schedule: family program Captain Nemo’s Adventure Academy on July 6, jazz band The Hot Sardines on July 17, Ailey II on October 25 and 26, and folk trio The Wailin’ Jennys on November 23.

Three-time Grammy Award-winning jazz singer Samara Joy will headline the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center’s 2024 Gala on Thursday, August 1. Show-only tickets go on sale to Mahaiwe Members on Wednesday, May 8 at noon, and to the public, Wednesday, May 15 at noon.

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center will present stand-up comedian Lewis Black on September 21 and internationally-inspired pop band Pink Martini on October 12. 

For a second consecutive year, the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center will invite participation in New York Theatre Workshop’s Mind the Gap, an intergenerational collaborative performance-making program, June 24 through June 28. 

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center will present rock music legend Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues on July 19, and the Grammy-winning choral group Ladysmith Black Mambazo on August 9. 

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center will present comedian Patton Oswalt on his new stand-up tour “Effervescent” on Sunday, July 21 at 8 p.m.
