The Mahaiwe and Clinton Church Restoration presented a Community Conversation on LeLand Gantt’s one-man play, Rhapsody in Black, on March 14, 2021. Rhapsody in Black explores LeLand’s personal journey to understanding and confronting racism in America. Conversation moderator Dr. Frances Jones-Sneed, professor emeritus at MCLA and chair of Clinton Church Restoration’s Council of Scholars, is joined by Gantt, Howard University junior Olivia Nda, and African American Studies teacher Jamal Ahamad.
