Accessibility

We are dedicated to providing an accessible and enjoyable experience for all patrons. The Mahaiwe meets all Americans with Disabilities Act requirements – but we strive to do more, and want to be a welcoming facility for all. Please let us know what we can do to improve access for every member of our community.

Accessible Seating

The Mahaiwe is wheelchair accessible through an outdoor ramp at the main entrance and inside to the orchestra level. Seating in the front mezzanine and balcony can only be reached by stairs. Patrons in wheelchairs may purchase tickets at any available price level, but will be seated at orchestra level for accessibility, subject to availability. A second ticket for a companion is not included, but may be purchased at the same price level as the first ticket. In order to make your experience as seamless as possible, we strongly encourage you to speak directly with Mahaiwe personnel at the box office or by phone at the time of ticket purchase to discuss seat locations and other details.

Parking

A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available on Castle Street and across the street at Town Hall.

Service Animal Policy

Trained service animals are permitted to assist guests inside the theater. If special accommodations are required for your service animal, please notify us at the time of ticket purchase. All other animals are prohibited.
