The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has added three new programs to its year-round schedule this spring: choral group Chanticleer on April 11; dance company Pilobolus on May 3, performing, among other works, a new interpretation of Martha Graham’s Lamentation; and singers Madeleine Peyroux and Bettye LaVette in a co-bill on May 16.

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center will present rock guitar legend Billy F Gibbons on Friday, February 15 at 8 p.m.

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center and the Du Bois Freedom Center will collaborate to present dance company Ailey II on Friday, October 25 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 26 at 3 p.m. as part of the Freedom Center’s series “Democracy, Education, and the Arts.”

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has added two screenings to its 100 Years of Movies series and will present a variety of festive favorites around the fall and winter holidays.

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has added three new live shows to its year-round schedule this December.

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center will present the Metropolitan Opera’s new Live in HD series for the 2024-25 season, October 6 through May 31. 

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center will screen the 2007 animated Pixar film Ratatouille, for free with reservations, on Saturday, July 27 at 4 p.m. in Spanish with English subtitles. 

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has added four new screenings to its 100 Years of Movies series: Dr. Strangelove (1964) on August 2; Young Frankenstein (1974) on August 16; Amadeus (1984) on September 13; and Crooklyn (1994) on September 27. 

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center and Berkshire Opera Festival (BOF) are delighted to announce that the Mahaiwe is BOF’s new long-term home, through a multi-year residency.
